1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and CareGlint Labs Private Limited ("CareGlint", "we", "us"), the owner of PediaPop. By ticking the agreement box and creating an account, or by using PediaPop, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PediaPop.

2. Who can use PediaPop

You must be 18 years or older. PediaPop is designed for MBBS and other medical students, but anyone aged 18 or older may use it for learning.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your login details private.
• One account is for one person. Do not share your account or sell access to it.
• Up to 2 devices. You can use PediaPop on up to 2 devices at a time (for example, your phone and your laptop). Logging in on a third device signs out the device you used least recently. You can see your devices and sign out the others in My account.
• Sharing your login with others may lead to suspension of the account without refund.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Your progress, typed notes and (with Premium) uploaded files are saved to your account automatically. You can still export a backup from time to time.

4. Educational use only: not medical advice

• PediaPop is a self-study and revision tool for exam preparation. Questions, references, study plans, reminders and progress reports are provided to help you organise your learning.
• PediaPop is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and must not be used to make decisions about real patients.
• We try to keep content accurate, but medicine changes and errors can happen. Always verify against standard textbooks, current guidelines and your faculty.
• PediaPop is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Medical Commission, any university, college or textbook publisher unless we clearly say so.
• XP, badges and "confidence" ratings reflect your own practice and self-assessment. They are not a guarantee of exam results.

No guarantee of exam results

PediaPop helps you study smarter. Your marks come from your own effort, with your textbooks and teachers by your side. Your marks and results depend on your own preparation, your college's teaching and the examiners. PediaPop does not promise any marks, grade, pass or rank, and CareGlint Labs is not responsible if you do not pass or do not get the result you expect.

About the question bank

Questions are compiled from previous question papers of several universities, for practice. We do not name or claim any university's papers as our own, and if you are a rights-holder who objects to any content, please write to support@pediapop.in and we will review it promptly. They may not cover every topic, and future papers may differ. Content can contain errors, so always verify with your textbooks and teachers. PediaPop is mapped to the NMC CBME curriculum but is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Medical Commission or any university.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, download in bulk, republish, sell or share PediaPop's question bank, content or design, except for your own personal study;
• upload anything unlawful or offensive, or that infringes someone else's privacy, including patient-identifiable information;
• share, publish, sell or distribute copyrighted material that you have stored in your account;
• try to break, hack, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the security of PediaPop, or access other users' data;
• use bots or scripts to access the service, or create accounts by automated means;
• use PediaPop in any way that breaks Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

6. Content & ownership

• Our content: the PediaPop name, logo, mascot, design, software, question bank arrangement and written content belong to CareGlint or its licensors and are protected by law. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while your account is active.
• Your content: your notes, logs, marks and uploads belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide PediaPop to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Files you upload and copyright: cloud storage is private to your account and is for your personal study use only. You upload files at your own risk and responsibility, and you are solely responsible for their content and for having the right to keep them for your own study. You must not share or distribute copyrighted material, and PediaPop has no feature to share your files with other users. We may remove files and suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
• Rights-holders: if you are a copyright owner or publisher and believe a file stored on PediaPop infringes your rights, email support@pediapop.in with your name, the work concerned, how to identify the file or account, and a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them. We will review it and act promptly, which may include removing the file or suspending the account.
• Feedback: if you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve PediaPop without owing you anything.

7. XP, badges & rewards

XP, levels, badges, stickers and streaks are for motivation only. They have no money value and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred.

8. Free & premium plans

• Without Premium (the Free plan), you can browse PediaPop's Chapter map (chapters and topics) and practise the 10 Top repeated university questions (recall status, Important mark and typed notes). All other features, including the rest of the question bank, chapter tracking and notes, missions, focus timer, study log, revision reminders, mistakes diary, attendance and marks, exam planner, XP and badges, and the monthly report, require PediaPop Premium, which costs ₹499 for 1 year (when available).
• Cloud Storage add-on: available only to students with an active Premium plan, for ₹199 for 1 year, which raises your total private storage from 1 GB to 2 GB for uploaded snapshots and PDFs (same per-file limits: PDF 5 MB, photo 3 MB, text 1 MB). After it expires, you can still open and download your cloud files for 60 days, but not upload new ones. After that, the files may be permanently deleted. Download anything you want to keep before then.
• Invite friends offer: each student gets a personal invite link. Every time 5 different friends buy PediaPop Premium with their own accounts using that link, 6 months are added to the Premium of the student who invited them. A student can earn this reward up to 2 times. The reward is an in-app benefit only (no cash value, cannot be transferred), and does not make any payment refundable. We may change or end this offer for future invites, and we may cancel rewards gained through fake accounts or misuse, or if a friend's payment fails, is reversed or is charged back.
• Cloud storage included with Premium (fair use): Premium includes 1 GB of private cloud storage for uploaded photos and PDFs, for as long as Premium is active. The Cloud Storage upgrade raises your total to 2 GB. When your plan ends, you can still open and download your files for 60 days, but not upload new ones. After that, they may be permanently deleted. Storage is meant for your own study files; we may limit or remove files that are unusually large, repeated or used to misuse the service.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) inside the app before you pay, including applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Cashfree Payments. By paying, you also agree to the partner's terms. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Premium access starts once the payment is confirmed and lasts for the period shown when you bought it (for example, one year). Plans do not renew automatically unless clearly stated at purchase.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Changes never affect a plan you have already paid for.

9. No refunds & cancellation

• All payments are final. Once a premium plan is purchased and activated, the amount is non-refundable, whether or not you use the premium features. Please check the plan details, price and duration shown before you pay.
• Failed or duplicate payments: if money was deducted but premium was not activated, or you were charged twice for the same plan, the extra amount is not a purchase. It will be returned to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days. Email us your order ID if it doesn't arrive.
• Cancellation: you can stop using a plan at any time. Plans do not renew automatically, so you will not be charged again. Stopping does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period.

10. Availability

We work to keep PediaPop running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". It may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, such as internet or service-provider outages. We may add, change or remove features over time.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CareGlint is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including exam results, loss of data or any decision made using PediaPop's content. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you have not paid anything. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Suspension & deletion

• You can stop using PediaPop at any time and ask us to delete your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, after giving notice where reasonable. Payments already made are non-refundable, as set out in section 9.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make important changes, PediaPop will ask you to review and accept them before you continue. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved, the courts at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction.
